Mr. Tarrach continued through Wisconsin on July 26, 2009; the past days riding through the Wisconsin: La Crosse (89 mi), Wisconsin Dells (75 mi), Fond du Lac (93 mi), Manitowoc (57 mi) had many interesting features. Ray’s challenging day was on July 23, when the climb was 3,700 feet. This week the “rest day” included a short ride of 6 miles to Ludington, Michigan to include a ferry ride to Mount Pleasant, MI. (This was this week’s rest day. On July 23rd, Ray entered the state of Wisconsin through La Crosse (89 mi). Ray will enter Michigan through the city of Ludington. He continues in Michigan riding through Mount Pleasant (115 mi) and onto Birch Run (72 mi).

This week, Mr. Tarrach’s demonstrates the Pillar of Citizenship. Ray has done his share to contribute towards helping Character Counts! raise funds. He has cooperated with fellow organizers and riders; stayed informed about the laws of the road, and the rules of daily ride routes and schedules. He is a good neighbor to his fellow riders.
Ray is generously riding to support Character Counts! Kent County. Please consider donating $20 to Character Counts! Kent County. Your $20 gift will provide character education lessons for one student for an entire school year. Our goal is to provide these lessons for 1,700 students.
